Salut Empordà Healthcare offers a dialysis service which enables patients to continue their treatment safely and conveniently while on holiday. A medical team consisting of nephrologists and expert nurses will attend users in comfortable and modern facilities which opened in 2010. These facilities feature the best technology, including 26 Fresenius monitors (Cordiax 5008S and Cordiax 5000) manufactured in 2016, wi-fi, one television per bed, and is able to serve 20 users per shift.
Blood dialysis sessions are supervised by a physician throughout the entire treatment. This service is located in a general hospital where you'll find medical and surgical specialities and an emergency department that is open 24 hours per day, 365 days a year.
Located in the heart of the L'Alt Empordà area, Salut Empordà Healthcare is just a few kilometres from the French border and Costa Brava beaches, next to the Dalí Theatre-Museum.
